Public Land Gator Hunt

This is the traditional Florida alligator hunting experience. Public land hunts are conducted on assigned waterways during your designated harvest period through the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. These hunts are only for people who have already received a valid alligator harvest permit and want a fully guided, hands-on experience. When multiple people are hunting on the same day, all permits must be for the same waterway.

You are the permit holder. We handle the rest.

DMFD Life provides the equipment, boat, and guidance to give you the best possible opportunity for success.

  • Hunt beginning at 6:00 PM
  • Until harvest is complete or up to 24 hours on the water

What To Bring

  • Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing
  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Headlamp or flashlight
  • Food and drinks for the duration of the hunt
  • Any personal non-hunting gear you prefer
  • Gratuity for your captain (20% customary + appreciated)

Policies

Deposits

A deposit is required to secure your booking and will be applied toward the total cost of your trip. Your date is not reserved until the deposit has been received and confirmed. All deposits are non-refundable.

The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the card used for the deposit 7 Days prior to your scheduled trip unless otherwise arranged with management.

 

Reschedule Policy

We understand that plans can change.
Reschedules are permitted with at least 72 hours' notice and are subject to availability. Your deposit will be applied to your new booking date.


Reschedule requests made within 72 hours of your trip may result in forfeiture of your deposit.


In the event of unsafe weather or conditions determined by your captain, we will work with you to reschedule at no additional cost. For offshore trips canceled due to weather a same-day inshore option may be offered with a price differential refund if agreed upon.

 

Cancellation Policy

All deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance may be eligible for rescheduling (see Reschedule Policy).


Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled trip will result in loss of deposit and may be subject to additional charges depending on circumstances.


No-shows forfeit their full payment with no rescheduling options. You will be considered a "no-show" one hour after scheduled departure with no direct contact with your captain. (See "Who to Contact" for contact details)

Robert Arrington’s presence is only guaranteed when additionally booked and explicitly confirmed through management. Guests are not guaranteed to be included in any photography, videography, YouTube, or Social Media Content.
