All of our charters are group rates - your group will have the entire boat for your trip. Each boat has guest capacities no matter the trip type you book. Be sure to check the capacity limits prior to booking so you can bring your crew!

Trips with Robert Arrington are extremely limited and handled through a separate request process. As much as he would love to be on every single trip, it just isn't possible.

Water and sodas are fine. We recommend leaving the beer, wine, and liquor at the dock for a post-trip celebration. Stay hydrated. Stay safe.

Most trips depart from Down The Hatch Seafood Company, located at 4894 Front Street, Ponce Inlet, FL 32127. Parking is free and easy. Final departure details, including exact meeting instructions and timing, will be sent prior to your trip.

Down The Hatch is a beloved waterfront staple in Ponce Inlet, located directly on the Intracoastal Waterway. Set in a rustic building with roots tracing back to a 1940s fish camp, it offers a classic Old Florida atmosphere where you can enjoy fresh, locally sourced seafood while watching boats, dolphins, and manatees pass by the docks. Whether you're inside the wood-paneled dining room or out on the open-air deck with live music, it’s a relaxed, welcoming spot—and the perfect place to unwind before or after your trip, especially with one of the best sunset views in the area.

Plan to arrive 15–20 minutes before your scheduled departure.
That gives time for:

Your deposit holds your date.
The remaining balance is due prior to departure or as specified in your booking confirmation.

A 15–20% tip of the charter rate is customary.

No, none of the boats in the DMFD Life fleet offer a bathroom. You may use facilities at the dock before and after your trip.

You’re in luck. We have the privilege of docking at Down The Hatch, where you may have the option to have your fresh catch prepared by their kitchen. Simply speak with the host or staff prior to arrival to explore current “cook your catch” options and availability.
